Check Engine Light came on this AM!!! errr
so i'm driving to work and i overtake 3-4 cars in a rush. i didn't punch it hard at all, got up to about 80-90 mph. slow down and get back in my lane and check engine light comes on. car stills drives prefect but the light's on. a friend says it's just cause my OBD2 is sensitive to any changes. my mods are listed below, any ideas??
i just had the resonator removed and cat installed a lil over a month ago. my friend seems to think it might have something to do with the cat. any acccuracy to that?
thanks guys.

it could be the cat, but it would most likely have gone off when you started the car the first time after installing it. try resetting the ecu. discconect the battery for like 10 min then reconnect and start it up, should be gone.

Is it the preset time for the maintenance? I think it's every 7500 miles. Try reseting it and see. It's a little button underneath the steering column. Hope this helps.-Dan

Nah, it's not the maintenance light, it's the "check engine" light. Thanks though.

have you checked to ee what code your throwing. do you know how to jump test it and read the blinks on the cluster? It could be a number of things. Pm or repost when you have a code or if you wanna know how to check it and i can tell you what the code stands for
i'm gonna recycle the power when i get home and if that doesn't work i'm gonna have a friend who knows the jump and blink technique look at it lol.
