clutch in 00 type sh
my clutch is going out on my lude. what is the best aftermarket clutch to put in my lude? i have been looking at the clutchmaster stage 3 with there 8lb lightwieght fly. should i get another brand or what. i want to put one in it that grabs hard. what dod u think?
a brand new OEM will grab a lot harder than you think.
especially if you are used to one that has been going out for a while.
I like the idea of the LWFlywheel tho. What brand are you going with ?

the type of clutch you need depends on the hp you are putting out. i think the stage 3 is like 250- 300 hp, but i can't remeber for sure. chances are you aren't putting down that much power and don't need the stage 3, if you get that clutch you will def. have a strong left leg.
edit: i can't find the hp rating for this clutch on there website.
maybe i'm thinking of an act clutch.

If your car isn't modded too much.
I reccomed the Exedy OEM replacment (Stage 1) and Findaza 8.5lb flywheel.
You can get this combo normally for about the smae price as just an aftermarket clutch..
My car is autox'd weekly w/0 problems.
