Get a Holley 190 lph, it's cheaper than stock and it flows a hella lot better. ( P# 12-917), ust be sure to get a strainer for your 88-91 application.

i made a quick write-up a long time ago:

1. disconnect battery
2. back seat area - remove the cover on the sending unit - 3 screws - this will give it slack - and unplug the wire harness
3. jack car up - put on jack stands
4. drain fuel if you dont want it to get everywhere - bolt located on bottom rear left corner of tank
5. remove splash shield cover to the left of the fuel tank - you will see fuel lines once it's off
6. use a jack to support the fuel tank
7. unscrew the 2 tank straps - just the rear side - deepsocket 12mm or open wrench
8. lower the tank - keep an eye on the wire at the rear of the tank so it doesnt snag - you should now be able to see the the fuel pump on the rear left side
9. there are 2 lines to the pump - remove one fuel line at the pump (dont lose the washers) and follow the metal fuel line to a rubber hose - remove the rubber hose
10. unbolt all the 10mm (might be 8mm) nuts - pull out the pump.
11. replace pump and strainer (self explanatory)
12. reverse order - done
