I have a 00 GSRwith I/H/E and I am looking for a chipped ECU. Ok first I would rather go with Hondata but I am limited on funds. So I will be going with a Chipped P28 probably. Right now it is in a 95 CX and I have a 99 Si tranny on the motor. It is running a 95 P72 ECU at the moment. Here is my question. What Program do you guys recommend and why. Also if you have first hand experience of this and not just " My buddy has one in his Teg and I drove it once and it will out run camaro's" ****. I would like honest to god first hand experience's with the programs. Also on the stock Valve train what is the highest you would recommend redlining the motor. I am planning on springs retainers and cams soon. But I want just a more aggressive program until I can afford that. So any help would be great.

 

My suggestion would be a FPR, a VTEC/fuel piggy-back, and some dyno time.

 

Well what I was thinking is VAFC, FPR, and maybe a mugen program or Kenji program.

 

ECU upgrades are only good if you have cams and compreesion.

My goal is pretty moddest. I would like 12.50's on street tires from a allmotor set up. I am getting a JDM ITR 4.78 FD tranny, CTR cams, skunk2 intake manifold, and cam gears.
this is for now.


And if I can find a bare block I will have golden eagle sleeve a GSR block for me and do 2.0 GSR VTEC running 11.0 to 1 compression. But the block and **** will be in the future.
