well, its powered right because the red light comes on it.. the ground is fine else the red light wouldnt come on.. im using the 30 amp relay.. i have the vtec wire connected fine.. the rpm signal is the - on the distributor... i have the switches set at 2400 so it can activate at 4800... i have all the power and grounds fine.. and relay but it seems like its not picking up the signal from the distributor... my vtec does work cuz i had an MSD that worked and a vafc that worked.. and i threw a direct 12v to the vtec selenoid and it works... what could be wrong?

dont say that its wired right if its not turnin ur solenoid on

check all the wirin again
maybe u made a booboo somewhere

check for this
MSD RPM A/S
red to switched 12V
white to the neg terminal of ur dizzy coil
black to GND
yellow to 85 on relay

then on the realy
87 to VTEC solenoid
86 to red on MSD
85 to yellow on MSD
30 to 12V+

 

its wired exactly like that..

i had it just like i wrote it and it worked fine for ever

 

get a volt/ohm meter hooked up to the activator, have a freind rev the engine and see if you can detect a signal.
