Need Philly or around philly ppl's help
I took my friend for a drive in my R today. He said it sounds weird like something is wrong. He's been in a Type R before so I figured he knows what he is talking about. I have only had my R for 3 months now so I wouldn't know if something sounded odd. If it was really odd i would but everything seems normal to me. I need help diagnosing this. I was hoping that someone who has an R around me is willing to help me out. If you could drive my car a little and tell me what you think. I was going to go the acura dealer but i think they would tell me its fine. I hope one of you guys can help me. Thanks!!!
First, my friend said it sounded weird. I asked how. He explained that when i was shifting into first and my car was moving from stand still...it sounded as though i was still on the clutch when i wasn't. It was like my engine was being held back. It was somewhat of a "groaning" sound. I'm not sure if this helps but i hope it does.
if its doin what mine is doin your fine nothing to worry about. we have to get in and see whats makin the noise, probably just need to grease something up, ill let you know what i find when i get time to look at it.
