Default whats the key parts to make a ls v-tec a every day driver?

i want to go ls v-tec on my civic.i have a 96 ls engine and a 98 gsr head.my question is what else do i have to have to make it reliable besides tapping the oil line,and using a gsr oil pump.do i have to modify or buy any more parts to make this work correctly.and when its all done can i drive it everyday. please help ,an ls v-tec rookie!!!!!!

To help you in the future...try to be more specific in your questions. If you leave your question open ended....you're gonna get flamed pretty bad.

Do some more research so you can ask more specific questions.

There is alot involved in an LS-Vtec. Too much that if we listed it, you probably won't follow along anyways. Thats why I urge you to ask more specific questions.

Good point...do your homework. An LS-VTEC swap looks easy in print, but it's the little things that make this swap tricky. The search button is going to be your friend. Good luck.
