and it told me I was able to remove the virus successfully, as always if you receive anything from my Patrick Seto account, please delete it and follow that link above and scan your computer or the WAY more competent CPU users above me who have graciously posted.

BTW, I tracked down the original email which caused this entire mess. If anybody receives mail from a KEN WONG delete his mail too! His subject header is RDER LIST BRIDGEBAND

I apologize for all the inconvience caused, and hope this situation has been appropriately curbed.

Hmm I keep getting some email in spanish from an email address listed from Honda of Chile, and it looks as if it contains viruses .bat and .com files anyone else get these?

Saga, it doesn't matter if it said broken link. You're computer might be infected if you double clicked on the link.

Check your autoexec.bat file and your Registry.. HKLM - Software - Sircam
If sircam exists then you know you are infected.

 

Haha..no worries..I figure I had to do a BIT more schooling before I went your way...but I am still getting emails on my Outlook account from people I don't know....

DELETE and run the worm killer. Man....stress me out how many peeps email back all pissed and ****..... haha....

I've gotten this 7 times so far. It has a different sender, different Subject and a different file attachment name eash time.

Luckily I'm not a doofus and don't open stuff like that.

And ths is another time that I am glad I run a Mac.
