My cousin knows a shop that can do it for me with mandrel bent pipings.. what do you guys think about custom piping? Are the reliable?any gains???

 

its fine if you use the right size and stuff, 2 1/4 is pretty good for cars with minor upgrades,anything bigger, turbo, sc, you should go with at least 2 1/2 o 3 inch, hope that helps you out, plus its usually a few hundred dollars cheaper than buying whole cat back exhaust systems.

 

alright how does it compare to the other companies cat-backs?? Are the gains about the same or is there a difference??

 

the gains will be about the same. When going with a custom route. Make sure you get a resonator in there. the resonator takes alot of the "buzzy" noise away if use correctly

 

I have 2.25" custom piping mandrel bent, with an 18" resonator, mated up to a 2.25" inlet/outlet straight/thru muffler. It looks stock, sound stock, and flow is awesome. I love it, and it only costed me 200.
