Default RSX potential?

Sorry for the super newb question but I know very little about the RSX Type S and the kind of potential it has. I test drove a Type S awhile back and thought it was a very nice car. I more recently heard of the engine responding very nicely to modifications. What kind of power gains could one expect with something like a Comptech I/H/E and Hondata reflash? What kind of 1/4 times would be realistic (ie, decent driver and tires)? Again, sorry if this is a common question. I have been lurking in this forum for a few weeks now and I have been wondering about this. Thanks for any insight.

Oh, nice. So 13s would be feasible with I/H/E and Hondata?

yes, but you'll need the race header that eliminates the cat

^ why bother with a short shifter on an RSX if the shifter's already pretty short...IMO the shifter's perfect...

You wouldn't need a race header to see 13's out of a Type S. Several people have hist 13's with just and intake, ECU flash, and decent tires.

b00stn...I recently bought an RSX-S and I've owned a '00 Si for a few years. I'm still breaking in the RSX so I haven't had a chance to open her up yet, but I can already tell it's a better car then the Si in every way. Make the upgrade, you won't regret it.
