Clutch drop f*** up..what happened ?????

At the races last night, and I lined up with a 99 civic si . I rev to 5500, drop the clutch, and the car doesn't move ! The tach needle shoots up to the redline and bounces, and the car start to roll at like 5 mph ! I shift into 2nd, the tach needle drops back to 6, jumps up to the redline again while I give it gas, but the car is still rolling at like 10 mph ! So I park my car, let it cool down, 10 minutes later I'm at the line again, and this time my launch is perfect ! Now one thing I've noticed is that after about 3 or 4 races, my clutch takes a really long time to engage fully. But when I let the car cool down for at least a half an hour, the clutch engages fine ! Do you guys have any idea what is happening in my transmission ??

If your clutch is pretty new, then you didn't break it in correctly and it is glazed. If it's not new then your clutch is will need to be replaced soon.
