JH4DC23111S001767 as i am sure u read the post MIGS posted earlier, they stripped everything ( doors, hood, steering column, rims,etc), just a shell left, sux. but now i am looking for a new car maybe a cl 3.2 type-s 6 speed not sure. just wanted to let everyone know.

I've never seen a post like this, where someone gave the VIN after a car was stolen to 'watch' for parts being sold from that car. Great idea.

Why haven't more people done this? Someone could keep a list of all the stolen VIN's and if it was somewhat-publicly available, it might be very useful....

 

Good idea, but have them store in a data base accessible only by the person incharge of the database and then buyers can contact this person for references, OR just run the VIN number on the item you are buying? Problem is that most VIN's are removed and People KNOWINGLY buy stolen merchandise and that SUCKS!!
