Ok..i bought krylon stained glass paint
its the orange color
I was wandering...after i take the corners off of my car...do i bake them and take them apart and paint the inside or just do they outside??? also..someone said to scuff them up with sandpaper and i thought wouldnt it leave scratches???
i searched for the DIY link...but there isnt a detailed write up...
ANY help or info or details is greatly appriciated...and btw its going on an EG

what i did wit mine, although i didnt use that type of paint, was just paint the outside...i didnt do any sanding or anything, just straight painted it...its starting to fade after about a year, but i'll be doing some touch up soon as i find some time...good luck and take your time with it...LIGHT even coats and you'll be fine...

 

Don't use sandpaper. They're plastic, not metal. It will scratch the surface. Just degrease the surface real good, and spray away! Don't forget to post pics!

also, spray the corners in one or two thick coats. by sraying them in thin coats, the corners won't look as shiney opposed to thick coats.

 

My car wont be out of the shop untill next week..
I will take pics of my gunmetal ls wheels..and the amber corners
