91 integra seats in 91 hatch
how did you get your integra seats to fit, and did they fit well?
i just bought some today and i put them in, i only got two bolts holding each one in though and they fit crooked. if you know how most people do it or if you know how you did it yourself, i would like to hear how you got yours to fit in there correctly.
thanks

it is easier to swap the buckets and rails... I did that with my old crx since the 88s had different rails.
I am trying to fit some JDM s-14 seats in to my hatch.. but I need to find some bucks and rails now..

do you mean the whole metal frame of the seat bottom when you say "bucket"?

the actual bucket and rails.. or you can just swap the rails, but you may need to drill.. so the easiest way is to swap buckets.. the buckets can be removed but the metal rings that hold the material into place... just pull the ring a part, replace bucket and rails.. you are set!
how i did mine:
cut the front mounting brackets off integra seats and civic seats and swap them, using the hole in the integra seat rail as a guide, drill out the civic bracket and bolt it to the integra rail. On the rear inside mount, you'll have to use about 8 fat washers and a longer bolt. They bolt in perfectly straight.

that won't work on the DA seats b/c the factory integra rails also bolt to the back of the seat, the CRX/civic rails don't have that bracket. so if you try to use the civic rails and bracket the back of the seat will fall off b/c then it will only be bolted on one side. the easiest and most effective way is to simply drill the front two integra rail mounts to line up with the civic holes like the others have said. i'll be finishing up my seats sometime this week.

ok, i just spent half a day trying to get these damn integra seats into my EF. I've drilled out the holes in the front of the integra rails and I just can't seem to get stuff to line up properly.
can anyone that has actually done this without re-drilling the holes in the floor of their civic please PM me!?!

This only applies if u got a 90-91 Civic (not sure about CRX),the bolt holes in the floor and tracks are different for 88-89.You'll need to unbolt the OUTER (door side) rails from the stock Integra seats and install your Civic seat rails in their place. You'll notice theres a wire that goes from track to track, you'll need to modify this a bit so your seats will slide back and forth.I think you have to shorten it and then just bend it back tight like it was until it slides.Only takes a couple of minutes to doSit the Intega seats in the car now.You should be able to bolt up the two front bolts and one rear outer bolt. This requires a little pushing, but it's not that hard, you can do it.Now theres one bolt left and it's on the rear inner side, next to the console. There should be a couple of inches between the track and hole in the floor...heres how to fix that.Go to the hardware store and buy 2 10mmX1.25 (or may be 10mmX1.50)bolts about 2.5 inches long.Make sure they're the same thread pitch as you're stock bolts,or you'll strip the thread and end up with a rocking chair...lol.Then take a 1/2 drill bit and drill you a hole in the track directly above the hole in the floor, next to the stock hole. Then take the bolts you bought and see if they line up good,if you're a little off, just enlarge the hole a bit. You'll need some spacers between the bottom of the track and floor, just use some washers or some sort of tubing and bolt that baby down. You'll need to use your stock plastic trim on the outer rail next to the door and use an Exact-O knife or something similiar to trim about 1/4 off the slot that the recline lever sits it.Thats should do it...when you slide the Teg seats back, they're going to pretty stiff, but no big deal.Hope this helps.

Here are mine, a little dirty, but hey, I got them for $13 a piece at a local junkyard. They're clean now, and smell good with some interior scrubber and Febreeze. Score!!!

And about fitment issues, the holes in the back fit perfectly in my sedan, but the fronts I had to drill new holes. In a hatch, you might have to file the rear inner rail hole, cuz we put my old sedan seats in my buddies hatch, and he had to file the inner rail holes to make em fit. You SHOULD be able to fit them in with a little fabrication (drilling, filing) and they're good to go! Only wish my CRX si seats weren't so fawked up about the rails and just fit in, love those seats!
