It should be no problem to swap in a power steering rack and then you can just sell your manual rack to someone.

doesn't that car come standard with power steering? I just bought a 93 dx hatch and it has no options (no a/c, no stereo, nothing) but it has power steering.

??

The power steering is prolly the option you did get. Rather, the 1st owner got.
I was interested in switching my 1993 Si to manual, but I heard something about
the splines being different.
It has not been such a big deal, so I have not done much research. I don't feel like being a guinea pig just yet.

yea i am so used to Power Steering when i race on my 97 vic ex... and one time my friend Ron let me borrow his car... and i was racing it down a side street i went to put into 2nd.. i was doing like 60 then into 3rd...on a 95' Civic DX5spd...i made a left gently and the car started goin right left right left right left..... so yea its very different.... but i heard no power steering is better... for some reason...

i'm using a ps rack and subframe from a '98 integra on my '94 dx hatch(didn't have ps from the factory). Everything bolted in perfectly. There are holes to mount everything already there. The big advantage to the ps racks is the quicker steering ratio.

Hmmm in that case, I may go powerless if I get off my ***.
I like the feel of no power steering. I wonder if there is a way to change ratios
before I put the non-power rack in the car. I'm sure this would also make turning that much more difficult when slow or still. Cool.
I suppose then I'll be one buff *****.
By the way, jgale... do you still have the manual rack?
Wanting to ship it to Phoenix??
