The rear bumper is scraped up on the drivers side corner, the power antenna doesn't work, there are a few dings, it has 109k+ miles on it, and it is silver with a blue interior.

It does already have a DC header, a DC cat-back, and a K&N filter, but these things would actually bring the value down right? because it has been modified and could've been beaten on.

The dealer is asking $7800. KBB says it's worth $5735 in excellent condition, and $5230 in good condition. I'd say it's in "good" condition.

92 and 93 Preludes in my area go for about $4500-$5500. Your figures sound about right for a car that has been modified.

 

7800? holy ****. if kbb says 5300 then thats how much it is worth unmodified. IMO its not worth it to buy a car that has been modded because 9 times out of 10 it has been beat on. also it is much more rewarding to build your own car then say "no i bought it like this". don't buy it, wait for a better deal to come along

 

This car will be left as is after I buy it, unless I decide to put an intake on it. This is just going to be a daily driver, I have a 90 CRX Si to play with. This one also has a back seat for the car seat that'll be needed for the kid that's on the way.

do not buy this car to put a car seat in. any time we (me, wife, kid) go out in the prelude. my wife has to sit straight up due to the carseat in the back. the bucket seats also pose a problem for the car seat. trust me when i say the 4th gen back seats are for insurance purposes only. do the right thing and get a 4 dr for the family.

if you spend 7800 you are retarded, if you spend anymore than 5325 you are getting raped.

 

My GF is only 5' 4", so she can put the seat all the way up front, comfortably. If they won't take $5k for it, they can kiss my a$$.

lol my wife is only 5'4" too, but we took it on a trip to maryland (6-7hrs) and trust me you will definetly hear some bitching about the seat.

 

I can just turn the radio up, it comes with an alpine cd player too.

I'm thinking, I'll go back tomorrow and tell them that if they won't take $5k, they can keep it.
