F3 oil and filter change interval?
Is it 3000 miles like a car, or is it every 600 miles? Also, was it 20w-50 Mobil one that had the least additives in it so it is safe for use w/ the wet clutch?
as far as the filter is concerned, I believe that the filter can be changed every 7K miles. at least that is what it says on my 99 and 03 R6's. But I still change them every time I change the oil. It can only help.
and as far as oil is concerned, is the mobil1 the moto brand or car? I have heard of people using car oil in their bikes. Personally I would stick to the moto type for sanity sake.
I personally use Motul and love it, but I've also heard good things about Mobil1. both are close in price.

20w50 (should be 15w50 in mobil1syn) does not have the friction modifiers of the automobile weights thus no ill effects on wet clutch systems. You shouldn't see any more slippage than usual even with say a 10w40 weight with friction modifiers unless your clutch pack is on the way out or there is some other underlying problem that is exaggerated by the additive. It really depends on your personal preference, oil type, filter type and riding habits.
