hey guys...i really like when people on honda-tech here do real low budget stuff...like spraypainted cars and stuff...if you guys have some pictures and information of your ghetto cars i would love to see them

integra brakes all around-- free

where can the d15b vtec motor be found??? i think this sounds like a great little motor, is it alot like the d16z6??

any japanese engine importer around your town can probably get you one. they make the same hp as the d16z6 i believe, and i think it's 3-stage vtec not 2-stage.

Bump cause I really like low-budget cars as well (I was looking for budget things to do to my EF xP ).

Might as well add my car.

1991 Civic STD - $1500 (No rust and no dents and very clean interior)
eGay Coilovers - $50
SI Interior - $100

So far I have $1650 into the car. Just need to get some paint and misc pieces and I'm ready to rock and roll .

Sorry to get off topic but I need to know this. If I want to swap motors out of my STD, why do I still have to do a DPFI to MPFI when I am going to be running a different ECU and harness?!?

the harnesses are different so you need to convert to mpfi

i got you all beat

89 crx si that came with a blown gsr motor and spare running b16..came wit haport mounts, hasport linkage,new oe teg radiator,ebay coilovers,and bosal exhaust ,,but had stripped interior,steelies,and funky lights...-$700

hx wheels/w tires - $100
teg front brakes - $50
84 crx hf rear drums - $20
installation of the b16 - i did it so it was free
puck clutch,stg 2 pressure plate,and 9lb flywheel - $200 from ebay.com
pr3 ecu $40 + my old pm6
= ~$1100 so far
