What doesn't seem right about it? In fact it is 217hp and 152lb-ft of torque, versus the 200hp and 142lb-ft of torque in the Type S. Also take into consideration what all makes the Type R. It is just not engine power, it is the whole package! The Type R significantly handles better than the Type S, although the Type S is no slouch in the handling department, as Gan-san showed on one of the Best Motoring videos, I think it was July or August 2001, he was stateside driving one at Honda's proving grounds in the Mojave desert.
Will it ever be released--I really hope it does get released, and I would like to see Honda of America take a bold stance and release it as it is here, a Honda Integra Type R, screw the whole Acura RSX-R thing, keep it real! Who cares if it takes sales away from Acura, in the end Honda still is getting the same money.

^ yes, i agree, but that's like telling toyota to release the Toyota Altezza instead of the Lexus IS300 in the US...won't happen...maybe all the honda badges etc...but sell it on Acura lots? haha...that would be a compromise...
