If you read some of the post in here a lot of the racers are trying to figure where to race next year.Lakeland might not be the best race track in the world but we had sport compact cars there that have run 4.71@153 mph and many more have run 4 sec in the 1/8 as well as plenty car that have done 1.05 to 1.10 in there 60 foot times. We get in that track in a bad day of racing 75 cars easy and 700 people in a slow day in good day we get 200 cars and over 3 thousand people in the stand. The best thing about it is that there is at least 6 to 8 events in the year. And race scene ther is outstanding compare to some other places. It will be great if we could get some more FWD to come over to the events.Another thing you have to look at is the payout over 15,000 dollars in prizes .3,000 for first place in Quick 32 and 1,000 for first place in the street class is pretty good payout.

Lakeland Sport compact drag racing! Better than speedworld IMO. I was there for the first PR vs. USA race in 07 where the starlet went the 4.71 pass. That track was packed and the car count was amazing!
