I have a obd2 gsr motor in a 98 ek and i'm running a obd2 type r ecu would that cuse me to run rich? If so what ecu should i get to get it to stop running rich?

 

It probably would cause you to run rich from mid-high. The GSR engine has the 2 stage IM with butterflies that are controlled by the ECU. Since you don't have the GSR ECU, the butterflies are not opening so you aren't getting all the air that you are suppose to.

If you have a Skunk2/JG IM, then forget every I just said.

 

i do have the skunks 2 mani . So what could it be any one .
