I searched and found nothing on this...
I read in in some article a while back about using some sort of window caulk to reinforce old broken/worn mounts for a temporary fix. I cant find the article.
Has anyone heard anything about this ot tried it?...whats the best caulk to use?
I know its not the best alternative so please dont tell me how stupid I am if you think its a bad idea. a friend and I just need a temp. mount til' he can order one.

 

THe latest Sport Compact Car magazine has an article on just how to do this. IT is windshield urethane that they use.
