please NO flames - I have a set of philips HIDs 6000k leftover from my old civic's (97) projector headlamps...they are H3 (d2s) and I thought about putting them in my OEM 2000 fog lights. has anyone done this, if so did you have any difficulties wiring them to the OEM foglight housings any ideas on where to mount the ballast
I do know that I should probably use a d2r bulb for the fogs (because the OEM fog is a reflector not projector housing) - but I already have the d2s, so i don't intend to use them in traffic...I also do intend to get the autolamps 6000k philips h4 hylow kit for my stock headlamps...any information would greatly appreciated - thanks - Greg

if you do plan to wire it to the fogs, be prepared to find a way to get it fully insulated. Water and electricity don't go well together. The idea is clever, but it looks to be a lot more work than a simple plug it in and call it a day.
