I've searched the archive but only found info on drum/rotor swaps. I'm keeping the drum brakes (for the moment) and need to replace the shoes. i am putting hawk hps pads in the front but can't seem to find anything for the drums. Am i limited to honda brakes?

 

I am sure that you can ship out some shoes as a core and have someone put material on them. Hawk used to do that, but not sure if they do still. The question is why? The rears do little more than keep the bumper from dragging in a FWD Honda. OEM shoes should be more than enough for any car that came with drums.

 

i knew the bias was setup primarily for the front but with better pads i didn't know if it skewed the bias further?

i guess i didn't find that cause i searched for rear brakes instead of rear shoes...
