Speed Inc header and Js Dampner: 56K no...
My car has 45k on it know and has been driven HARD. The engine moves around a bit and the dampner has sort of cured this. It is not like solid or uprated mounts but just firms it up a bit. I think it has also made shifting more positive but then again i think my clutch might be feeling funny!
It moved around enough to rip the hanger off the HKS POS header...
Although this was chopped you can see where the hanger tore away.
And yes my new header is Badda Bling! Thinking of wrapping it though....

I have speed products, but they just say spoon on them hehe
. BTW nice stuff you got there. Is that J's damper worth it? Or do you just suggest stiffer engine mounts?

After a substantial test run to Scotland and back the dampner appears to have just tightened things up a bit. Its not as harsh when you get on/off the throttle but more positive and the shifting appears to be more direct and as well. My car has 43k on it now (poor baby...) and this seems to be a better and cheaper solution for a road car than uprated/new mounts as uprated mounts can begin to tear the mounts away...
The manifold is beautiful and really pulls hard in vtec. vtec in 5th to 120mph is now much quicker (when tested on a private test track obviously). And yes it is a fair bit cheaper than Spoon whilst being the same if not better quality. Look at the inside! My HKS one was of incredibly dissapointing quality as it was not ported at all and still had large bit of metal inside it which i had to get out but still left a really rough passage. When i get my car mapped to stop the clouds of fuel it currently leaves in its wake we will really see the gains....
i highly recommend either product but dont expect massively noticable gains with the dampner. oh yeah it also helps control wheel hop on hard launches.

They are normally but apparently ours are limited edition. Didnt know we were getting them until we opened the box. Prefer the gold personally...
