Okay, I some Help here. Forced Induction guys, I got a question!
Has it been modified in any way then? I know i had heard of Comptech doing JRSC kit tuning or something, but I thought that whole thing feel through.
I think they just stamp their name on the manifold, call it a Comptech kit and charge you another couple hundred dollars. A lot of thier parts seem that way.
There's a dealer here in Denver who'll cover your warranty on a Jackson kit if you buy it from them and have them install it. Thier prices are ridiculous though (like 1000 for the install and full retail on the kit), so I decided to take my chances. I got the kit for 2k even and did the install with the help of a couple of freinds.

I am also wondering if the "Comptech kit" is more streetable, like if they actually did anything to it or if it is just re-badged.

Onyx,
Scottsdale Acura told me that they'd install the Jackson kit even if you purchased it from somewhere else, and yes, you still keep your warranty. Don't know their instalation price, but I've seen the kits for around $3000. If it is indeed about $1000 for install, I'd say that a $4000 bill for a charger 'taint too shabby...
syrinx,
When i get back to AZ you and i should go up there so you can show me who you talked to. i would like to get them to install some Civic Type-R pistons and Civic Type-R cams, along with some adustable cam gears.

I'm all with you for going there, but I really need to decide if I'm going to bite the bullet and go with the JRSC or if I'm staying mild for awhile. Drop me a line when you're back and I'll head over with you...
