Default Forged Internals

Does anyone make a forged crankshaft for an H23?

The h23 crank is forged from the factory.

Ok, thanks. Some others beleive it is not forged and therefor unsuited for hive revs. What do you think?

As far as I know every Honda crank is a forged piece. Not sure about the older cvcc engines.

I gave my machine guy both a h23 and a h22 crank to inspect, and he said that the h23 (that I gave him) was cast, and the h22 (that I gave him) was forged. That doesn't mean that ALL are this way though. Besides, if you add a set of under-piston oil squirters, you should be fine with the revs either way you go...

That was what I heard. I have found a billet H23 crank so I have solved my problem. On top of being billet, it can also be built to custom stroke. So it is all good.
