CTR tranny on an 95GSR
I was wondering how my top end speed be with the CTR Tranny. I know i ll will pull alot harder off the jump due to shorter gears and + LSD. So guys, give me some info on this tranny.
I have that trany dont use it!
too high RPMs on the highway gears are way too close. if you are just ging to race then yeah go for it but for everyday driving hard on the motor, more gas too

it's the same gearing as an ITR.
i don't see many itr owners complaining?
maybe use an LS or GSR 5th gear if u do alot of freeway driving and u don't want yer engine to rev that high in 5th

GSR's would suffer in gas consumption with a CTR/ITR/or 99-00 SI tranny because at 80mph on the freeway you'd be at 4500 rpms (basically in vtec, unless you've changed your crossover)
As far as i know, CTR is 4.40 FD same gearing as US ITR and SI. but CTR/ITR have LSD. 98+ JDM ITR came with 4.785 FD
