On my way to the Finals game, my car just completely starts to shut down... I noticed i had gone through a big puddle... going around 20 miles and hr...
I shut the car off.... It doesn't start........I had the car towed to my house...
What do I do, I'm worried my car is dead any tips... any hope? Let me know...

Did the car die after going through the puddle? Take off the AEM and see if there is water in the intake manafold. If there is then you may have hydrolocked the car. I would put the car up in the air and look for cracks in the block and possibly take off the valve cover to see if water is in there. This happened to my civic and there was a very large crack in my block near the oil pan.
Good luck I hope your car has no major damage and just needs to dry out.

Well if it is hydrolocked there is nothing you can do really. If you are very concerned and can't sleep then go ahead and do it. If not just wait till morning.

I needed a new motor! I blew my 1.6 ex crap motor so I bought a LS motor for my civic.
Hydrolock usualy will = new motor (hopefully just the block)

My insurance company did cover it HOWEVER...They claimed it as an accident so I did not collect. They called it a collision with water??? WTFE
Hope it isn't hydrolock. I have heard a few stories of people getting hydrolock and they all were really pissed & sad about it.
Hydro-locking is what happens when water gets sucked up into the engine's air intake (in his case, his Cold Air Intake). The water gets drawn into the cylinders, and when the pistons come up, the water doesn't compress like air does (everyone should know that). So what happens is that the pistons, rods, valves and cylinder walls all combine to create an instant metal sculpture and if the rods don't bend, they can easily break through the block.
I had a similar experience in my car but mine stalled out right away. This was the result. My car still ran, but had to sit for like 15 minutes before it would refire. It was down on power a bit but I raced it at several events without a problem. You probably hurt the motor some, but I'd say there is a good possibility that once it dries out it will run again.
Good luck.
Mike
Good luck.

pull your spark plugs and turn the motor over...if there is any water in the cylinders it will come out......dont look into the spark plug hole while craking.....if water comes out then let the motor sit for a little while with a towel covering the spark plug holes to dry it out.....how deep was the puddle???? if you were going 20 mph i wouldn't think the filter could pick up enough water......might be something electrical....good luck

Pulled the spark plugs out this afternoon............ turned it over and NO WATER CAME OUT
Before I pulled the plugs and tried to start it, it wouldn't start The motor didn't sound horrible (kinda how it sounds when you battery is drained...... kinda struggling but no pinging)
What do i do now?

Maybe
I have yet to pull out the CAI. Now i have two hrs to make this decision... Should I notify the insurance or try to fix it myself (with help of a friend)
my deductible is only 250 of course it is likely to go up...

Were the spark plugs wet? if not, check to see if your getting spark and fuel.
