Default window getting stuck down - window switch owned me

one day when i rolled down my driver side window, it felt like the switch was knocked lose or something... it didn't feel as solid as before, or like the passenger switch does (the one right next to it, both on the driver side door). then when i tried to roll it back up nothing would happen. after dropping a deuce, thinking my window would be stuck down, i tried it again and it finally worked. then the window proceeded to work fine for the next couple days. it felt lose and not as solid as before, but it worked. then yesterday, and again today, the window got stuck down. when you try to push the switch up, it doenst really click up like it's supposed to, but sometimes it'll work anyway. sometimes it does not. it feels like when you push it up, it doenst hit the sensor or whatever to activate the motor. what the hell is wrong with it? is it just something came lose? can i take apart the switch thing and fix this myself? my warrenty just expired last month.. so i dont want to take it to the dealer and have them rape me. bleh, sorry for writing a book

you shoud take your door off and trouble shoot the wiring, you probably have a loose wire. the window shouldn't stop and start working if the switch is bad. you'll probably just have to reconnect a wire.

before i had my ITR i had a 4 door 95'GSR and my driver's side window did the same thing. turned out the problem was the window regulator. i ended up replacing it. your window seems to be having the same symptoms mine had before it gave out, it might not be the same problem but just something to look out for. good luck.
