Everything is plugged in correctly. When I try to start the car, it makes a jolt and will not continue to turn over, this is a minime setup. One thing I don't have I notice some do is a 92-95 fpr<fuel pressure regulator> is that required?....I've done searches im confused someone help please.

Tracked down problem, not getting spark, the distrib worked before i took it off the a6 head, the 2 plugs are attached...there is 2 wires on the engine harness near the starter i cannot find where they go. They are 2 wires one brown with black stripe and other is black with red stripe, both going to fish eyes. ......distrib was fine before, everything else is connected and everything worked before...can anyone help me

your battery may be dead.

 

Battery is fine, cars turns over, distrib just isn't doing its job, but it did work before i took it off the a6 head.

 

On a minime, does the distrib sit like it does on the a6 head or is it tilted like the z6 distrib?

 

Got to advance your timing and cut one of the legs off...
