Default Imports Vs. Domestics! Somewhat victorious...

Hey all, i just got home from the 2003 imports vs. domestics competition at english town, raceway park. It was a great event, and i somewhat came out a winner. I brought home a runner up trophy, a class winner trophy, and $250. I ran 9 mustangs, and 1 camaro. I managed to beat 8 of the 9 mustangs, and the 1 comaro. I got elimanated in the finals against a 2000 mustang gt, automatic. He ran a 15.017, and i ran a 14.689. He dialed in at 15.02, and i dialed in at 14.70, so it was a very close race, but he took the victory. I beat his time though I ran a 14.7 eight runs in a row, and screwd the last one up . Anyway, i just thought i'd share my eventfull day w/ everyone.

hahaha, sweet man..he didn't reply because he knew he'd lose. At least he was a good sport about it. lol

The reason i didn't dial in any lower than 14.7 was because of the weather conditions outside, and i felt i could run 14.7 all day long. I pretty much did, except for in the finals when i hit 14.689 Oh well, i still made out ok, but it would have been great if i won against the domestics.. I was the only import left for the last 3 rounds. So after i picked up my trophy, i headed home.. On the way home, a 6 cylinder mustang pulls up next to me and says "IMPORTS SUCK" i just laughed, and showed him my trophy..told him i just ate about 8 mustangs, and i would hate to waste my last gallon of gas on his pos. lol I can't wait untill next event! Turbo will be in by then Again, thanks for the compliments guys.

When you bracket race, you are only trying to see who is more consistent, not who is faster.

Thus, you cannot talk like you are a V8 killer. Especially since you only run high 14s and most V8s are easily 13 second cars.

Please don't get me wrong.

Good job making money at bracket racing.

But do not trash talk to domestics because you beat a few of them in brackets.

The domestics i was running were slow as *****. Most of the 89-94 mustangs at the track don't run anything lower than a 14.8 when i go. But, yeah, i definately shouldn't trash domestics because they own imports easily..its just the drivers that are ********, and always talk about "imports suck" So, i got a little carried away. Oh weLL
