need help hooking up auto meter tach on my dash---5th gen
ok i got a new dash mount tach for my 94lx. I dont want to disconnect my indash tach so im just trying to splice into the existing wires to hook this up. Can anyone tell me where i can locate the proper wires. Im horrible with electric **** in cars and i get nervous im going to mess something up so id rather ask a stupid question instead of doign something stupid to my car, thanks for any help guys.

hook it up to the tach signal comming from the ecu ill have the color for you in about 10 mins. edit: yellow wire with green stripe located on the biggest ecu pin.
thats on a 95ex. if you already have the dist cap and shizzle off yah the blue wire is negative
