If you didnt' change the internals, and since it's a used motor, you can go ahead and treat it as you please. Change the oil like normal and you'll be fine

Hey man, so did you have an H23 in your car before?? If so, is there a big difference??

I was actually supposed to get a 96 H22 coverted to ODBI for my car too but the guy was taking too long. I just wanted my car on the road. You didn't happen to buy your engine from a guy in NJ did you??

That's cool man. I am pretty impressed with my H23 right now. Most people said there is a night and day difference between the H23 and H22. I wanted the H22 sooo bad...things just didn't workout.

My car has 157K miles so an H22 is most likely in my future.

Good luck with it.

Ok First off, learn how to drive the Vtec lude . The only thing the H23 has is lowend Tq, for putting around town.
Not to be a as$ but, I got $1000 bux for anyone that can beat me in the 1/8, 1/4 in my lude with a H23 with the same bolt-ons as me.
