Today I was heading to the new pizza place Cici's on 355 and when we parked my friend opens my door, and all of a sudden i hear this LOUD pop.

I freak, check to see what it was, and the metal bar, i assume its the guide for the door, between the 2 hinges, has popped outta place.... So i think "F***" and i just open the door all the way, and slide it in...

Later when i walk back to my car after the food i notice a HUGE dent on my fender, turns out when the brace popped out and the door was open the end of the door didnt go under the fender like its suppose to. So it pushed in my fender....

Looks like i gotta go to the body shop sooner than i thought...

And to think I was all happy cuz im home from college and working again, and im getting that 12 grand settlement check in the mail, so i was gonna get the Wings West RS OEM kit, fix the dent on my bumper and under my tails, and retouch my paintjob so my car can be perfect again.

This car has too much bad luck, after i fix it up im selling it to a friend at the end of the summer and get a 240SX S14 or a old school MR2-Turbo....

Imagine head trauma so bad u cant see for weeks and light giving you migranes, and a pelvic fracture that prevents you from walking...

My female friend who was behind me and got hit on my side (i wasnt driving) is getting over 100 grand in settlements, broke all her ribs and they punctured her lungs kidneys liver etc.... we're all lucky to be alive, was a packed car...

honestly, I woudlnt think highly of any settlement check no matter the amount. Nothing is worse than having to be paid for discomfort or personal injury.

If you were paid out of being at the right place and the right time, i'd call it luck and wouldnt say much beyond it.

Lots of folks get hurt pretty bad and make out with little to cover the medical bills.
We shoudl all count our blessings.

talk about bad luck.... i've been so absent-minded the past few days.... and i guess i'm not used to my tint cuz i haven't drive my car for 3 months... while reversing at night (rolling down driveway in neutral) i ran into my dad's bumper cuz i wasn't paying attention...and i reversed into a car at a stop light last night because it was 3am and the light wouldn't change so i thought i'd put it in reverse to go over the sensor again... i hit him because 5 sec earlier i looked back and didn't see anyone and it was dark..yea yea excuses...don't flame me...i'm already mad at myself for being such a dumbass
