do you have the '89 si or std? I guess you could do the bolt-ons with a mini-me setup. Depends how many miles you have on the motor already. I would suggest keep the stock motor and build up the block and throw a bottle in or a mini-me setup, or a junkyard turbo setup. Depends how much you want to spend and what your looking to get out of it

Which engine do you have?
well i guess I/H/E, D16Y8 or D16Y6 Head, and maybe a 55-shot would be a nice set-up.

The car is an '89 civic hatch dx. Lets say i wanna go 13s, what do i need to do? right now i just wanna mess with this car on the stock engine(its got 160k miles already though) but i want to upgrade it to a b18c1 later on, so which parts should i get now to make my civic be quick (not fast) and that i can use those parts when i do the swap.. also where should i look for not too expensive b18c1? or any other suggestions? thanx everyone..

13s would be tough on a stock d15. IMO, not worth it to get your d15 into the 13s, because it simply wouldn't be cost efficient. swap, the motor choice is up to you...
