i know its nto a honda but anyone ehar of isuzu i-mark?
Well its the equivalent of a hondaa civic. I have one and im tryiong to think of weather i want to sell it or keep it. I DOHC 130 hp, and redlines at about 7700 rpm. IT needs a bit of work but is pretty quick and a nice car but i want to get soem parts for my CRX as well, so im in a dilema.......
So wait is this like the Honda Odyssey/Isuzu Oasis, Honda Passport/Isuzu Rodeo, Acura SLX/Isuzu Trooper? Or are you just saying the car is similar? If it is really a Honda under that skin I assume you have something like a DOHC ZC. What country are you from? I've never heard of anything like that in America.
Well it is the same bascially as a civic hatch, it wasnt technically avaliable in north america . IT was imported in by a company called PASSPORT< FOR GM. THe GM North american equivalent is called a GEO Spectrum i think. But it ahs a gM motor. THe isuzu has isuzu DOHC 1. isuzu handling suspension. Its quite quick and handles great stock. Just na keep it or sell it top get some stuff for the CRX.
Do you have any pics? If is like the Geo prism With the DOHC Isuzu motor I'd say sell it! A buddy of mine has one and has dumped whole lot of money in it and it still runs a 16.0 flat.
Oh this runs fastre than 16.0 lol, it runs along side CRX si's no problem. I ate a Chrysler sebring last month and its stock. Its bascially a DOHC ZC , its not slow, lol.
HEres a link to some pics. Not the best lookin car but meh?

Hmmm I don't know. Its sort of a unique looking car and pretty rare. I'm not sure exactly what can be done to it though to make it faster.

its the same thing as a Geo Storm GSI. It has either a 1.6L DOHC (130hp) or a 1.8L DOHC (140hp)
This in a chassis around 2200 lbs.. i'd say LS HATCH comes to mind when thinking of those numbers....people see GEO and get turned off, but think it would smoke a lot of hondas out there.

it may smoke honda's but the honda will catch up when that thing is broke down on the side of the road. also i think parts would be a pain in the *** to find? its unique, but sorry i think it pretty ugly IMO. personaly i'm biased but build up ur rex, there are more parts for it, more people around to help you. And its a Honda need i say more?
Actually 91civicdxdude its nothing like the storm. THe i mark cam e with a SOHC trubo ., and the DOHC 1.6 A lot of people swap in the geo 1.8 and add a turbo cuz parts for that motor are easier to find. As for autocross, i seriously thought about that . IT would work in a stock class very well. YA i admit parts are hard to find for the car, most ive had to buy brand new. And it is pretty ugly , lol, but its also very diferent. As nice as it is , and as rare as it is, i think im gonna sell it to buy my LS swap i found for 450 canadian.

actually it IS the storm's twin car, much like the chevy cavalier and pontiac sunfire. The base model both comes with a 1.6L SOHC engine, the 4XE1. the I-Mark comes in carbbed versions though, and the storm is only MPFI.
