If its just the bracket you could take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it.

If you do not fix or replace that bracket, You'll cause excessive flex to that flexpipe. Obviously that flex pipe is meant to flex but only to a certain degree.

By not using the bracket the flex pipe overly flexes and will start to rip apart at the mesh. (Located at the ends)
You'll than begin to hear strange tinny scraping noises that will drive you crazy in trying to trouble shoot it.

Personally? I would try and get a a new one from King Motorsports. I'm sure they have come across this problem many times and might even have a stronger one if not slightly longer one available.
If Mugen or anyother exhaust company felt you didn't need it than they would not have included it. (The Stock one will not work cause it is too short and you end up practically bending the exhaust way too much)

*Fix it before you end up with more problems. Mugens are beautiful exhausts

.....just my 2 copper coins

Not a problem on the flex pipe.

Just wanted to let you know what I experienced because I did not want to replace the cracked bracket.

Hope they give you a new bracket.

This is interesting I don't have my bracket on, but the hanger is attached, I really don't think there will be much of a problem with the flex pipe however I'd like to check.

If ithe bracket is cracked in half like mine was than I don't see how a repair will fix it. Mine looks as if it was slightly twisted before it cracked. I'm guessing they will replace it with a new one. Just seems easier to do.

RAB,
Without that bracket the torque of the engine will eventually rip apart that mesh as well as cause the over flexing of that pipe which leads to a cracked flex pipe. It's just a matter of time before you will notice it.
