Well I did a search and then went to micheals craft store to buy some amber paint to paint my corners and I was looking for amber color but they only had one orange that I could find so I thought that it must of been the one everyone used to paint theirs..






anyone know the name of the color that I need?

definetly stained glass paint is what you need not just regular paint. and theres an orange color you can use just do light coats until you get the shade you want.

hahahahaha I make the same mistake as you once. hahahahahah yeah its orange glass stain and dont try to look for them cause they discontinue it along time ago...

 

i give u credit for being the ******* that fudged it up and had the ***** to show everyone how not to do it....from now on everyone that does this mod should send you a dollar...

They don't have the reflector like stock, and they just look like amber euroclears

You can get that paint off but most likely you'll have to sand it, and then use rubbing compound and polish to make the lenses nice and clear again.

 

Wow, I thought that was a joke, but seriously props for posting your mistake. Try going to a model store or hobby shop and look for Testors transparent paint. Then take the corners apart and spray the backside of the lense. I know Testors makes a transparent red, but I don't know about the amber or orange.

well, that sucks.. might wanna start looking for some new corners before looking for paint.. normal paint is pretty opaque.
but yeah i do have to give you props for admitting your mistake and asking for help!
