You keep shifting like that, your gonna blow the welds on your intake manifold...and you steel foot plate might fall out!!
Did you put it in reverse?

Anyways. It was a miss shift. I was letting my friend drive me back home b/c I was feeling shitty.
(Dont ask) and he miss shifted when I wasn't looking. I dont remember what gear he was in, but it went into 2nd.
I looked up, saw the tach go into 10K RPM (/me has ITR cluster), had a **** fit and started screaming. Next thing you know, we were coasting into some neghiborhood b/c he couldn't shift the car and the pedal was stiff.
After quick diagnosis, we had to clutchless shift and revmatch my car all the way home (40 miles). Screw paying a 180 dollar tow fee. Engine seems to run fine, and we even did a quick highway pull. Car pulled very strong. Idles fine.
Prolly could use a valve adjustment just to make her happy.
But I have an ACT XTSS going in right now+prolite flywheel. So I'll see how it goes once it's finished.

I bet it was hard to shift after that, right? I found the EXACT same thing on my clutch when I pulled it out. Only thing was I didn't misshift or anything, I just rode out 2nd gear to redline one time, and then after that it got hard to shift. I guess it was just waiting to happen w/ 135K on the original clutch.
My friend grenaded my clutch at an autox. A metal bracket broke and the pieces that hold the springs in like yours were all chipped. He went in wayy too fast into a slalom, did a 180 starting sliding at the 2nd cone, sliding backwards all the way to the last slalom cone, and he didnt put the clutch in. byebye clutch
when it happened to me, i started the car in 2nd gear to get moving from a stop in order to be able to have my car limp home. However for me, i couldnt get the car to disengage gear when in motion so i i had to stay in that gear the whole time.
