Thats some bullshit... i can't believe the girl got a $800 fine for that ****.. seriously.. i mean its undeniable that much of modern vehicle codes are used to generate non-tax revenue for the govt but please... thats ridiculous. Its one thing to cite the girl, but jail time + the fine is seriously overdoing it. I'd be afraid of what they those ATL cops would do if i rolled thru playin NWA wit "**** da police" blaring thru my speakers.

 

those things ARE illegal, just about in every state you can get some hefty fine for imitating an emergency vehicle. Blue/red is a no-no color in the front. The jail time is kinda harsh though...

that judge was a f*ckin ******...but still, those lights look so gay. The same as LED muffler tips, and LED tire stems.

 

Yep. a person i know in brooklyn was pulled over and was issued a ticket for these jet washer lights. Granted, my friend is a wise guy with vanity plates. I think if you catch a cop on a bad day... any little thing will get you in deep.

I drove around NYC with my UK plates for 2 months until the customs and dmv processing went through. I was never harassed, stopped or issued a ticket.

The laws work the way they do. A lot of what happens has to do with your luck and how you carry yourself.. What's happening to the girl in teh story may seem unfair but theres always more to the story than is being reported. However one sided the story may seem, I wouldnt pass judgement solely because of this.

 

Did you read where it said she tried to plead HER OWN CASE. What an idiot. She probably gave the judge some lame *** story, or insulted the judge in her defense. I wouldn't doubt it if that was the cause or her getting a harsher punishment than she deserved.

 

Yea she definatly got some unfair punishment, but the LED's anywhere on the car, unless its part of some electronic equipment are all gay. LED's for show suck so bad, total rice!
