car running hot; oil loss but no coolant loss
wassup guys,
I have a 90 Civic and it seems to be running hot. I searched about this topic and found it could possibly be my head gasket, but doesn't the coolant level have to drop also? Please help a brother out!! Sitting at idle doesn't affect the temp but as soon as I start driving, maybe 15 minutes later, the temp slowly goes up and never comes down. At WOT, full clouds of white smoke come out of the exhaust. I just had the head done about a year ago so that is why I'm thinking if has to be something else besides the head gasket. Did a dry comp test about 2 months ago and everything read okay. No wet test done so I'm figuring maybe the rings? Any feedback would be appreciated!!
