Quest for a Quiet Exhaust For R (non-catback) (Searched!)
First off I have been reading a lot about this topic on the forum and did not get the information I was looking for.
I am looking for an exhaust upgrade for my car. I am not a ricer in any manner so I was looking for something that sounded similar to the new nissan Z (stock)
or dare I say the SRT-4. I am looking for a little more performance but I dont expect to run .5 faster times with this single mod.
I love the way they sound from behind stock. I would like something with a little hum but nothing that you can here from like 4 blocks away. I am sure you all know what I mean.
Let me know what you all think and thanks in advance!

4 cylinder will never sound like a 6 cylinder

not a ricer in ANY manner...yet your top objective in this topic is to get a better sounding exhaust?

Open header below VTEC sounds nastier than a Camaro SS.

LOL...both... Ever heard a V8 with a crappy aftermarket exhaust that sputters and rattles and sounds a little bit like a tin can? You can get the same effect by running your Integra straight out of the header.
(once you hit VTEC though, it just plain hurts your ears).

My Mugen twinloop is almost as quiet as stock, but a nicer, deeper sound. If you want strictly just axle back, id rather stick just with the stock muffler or maybe the Spoon street muffler. Comptech axle back may be another choice.
