Clutch????
if you're not sure then it might not be gone. destroyed mine at the track one day - replaced with act. to put it simply, it's extremely hard to shift. when you switch gears you're forced to wait til the revs drop, almost to zero. at least that's what happened to me. hard to remember 'cuz i blocked all that out my memory...i actually drove on it for days and days after
(so i could get to work, not because i was dumb...well, maybe that was dumb

First you'll hear a loud bang. Next, your shifter will fly out of third faster than Pat Boone in New Orleans. Then you'll freak out, cause you're in heavy traffic, so you'll try to jam it back into second, whereupon you'll discover you can no longer shift at all. All of this will be accompanied by a blood-curdling screech akin to what a submarine sounds like as it's crushed by ten million metric tons of water.
At least in my experience
If you have any doubt, go immediately to your mechanic. He can tell you in 5 minutes if it's bye-bye, or soon to be!

Right now the clutch is out in my GS-R and the way I know is because after my car is warm for a while, when I push the gas the revs go up but I hardly go anywhere. An explanation of you problem would help us greatly.
