actually Phoenix is the #1 city in the US for auto theft. thats a bad thing b/c i live in Phoenix . but LA is horrible also. get the club, autolock, a good alarm and a nice big dog to guard your car.

cops are dicks when it comes to LA. ive gotten 25 out of the 28 tickets on my record from LA cops .

 

um. .teh scene is on fire over here compared to most other places. .There are a lot of really good shops and really good tuners also. Most of the good companies you know of like Signal (Signal Hill), Greddy (irvine), Area 51 (irvine), Skunk2 (norco), Tanabe/Mackin (Santa Fe Springs), AXIS (SFS), Road Race Engineering (mitsu ONLY, SFS) blah blah blah are located in Socal. The cops, well. . u know, they dont really like the imports, but what can you do. Just try to be as inconspicuous as you can, and when you do get pulled over, be nice. A lot of times they've let me get off because I was respectful. Oh, and the car theft thing, yeah, be careful with your car. Especially if you live in a good area. Like my friend always tells me, "Thiefs don't rob from the ghetto". You should enjoy it down here though. We've got basically everything you'd ever want. Good drag strip, lots of import drags, drift comps, solo2, autocross, blah blah blah. There is always something going on down here. The only way i'd move is if i was going to japan! haha. . . But thats just cuz i love asian girls. (c;

 

i think the roads are pretty good here. in norcali they suck. umm..as for cops it varies city by city.....theif also depends where you live. but i live in SGV aka JDM land #2 and no prob with my car. although once they did key my fender. what do you have on your car so far? if its all hooked up lock it down.

it really depends on what area ur at... here in riverside.. cuz there are so many modded rides, i haven't had any problems with cops harrasing me for simply that reason only when i'm breakin traffic laws did they ever bother me. But in LA that was a totaly different storie for me... cop sped up to follow me and gave me a ticket for a ****** expired reg sticker, and i showed him the ticket i had gotten teh day before and that i even got teh smog done and that it was in teh process of being dealt with but he still gave me the ticket.

any place is as good as you make it. anyone comming to cali id just recommend a newer neighborhood and is nice and quiet, senior citizen housing with grandma

 

Irvine would be perfect. . but Puente isn't bad either. . . right next to speedzone, autolink, and jdmhondaparts. . . Not including not too far from Irwindale Speedway (all the drift comps), 45 minutes away from California Speedway (some drift comps i think are gonna behappening here too) . . . bout an hour drive from Palmdale (LA county raceway) , half an hour drive from Pomona Dragstrip. . i live in norwalk, so i'm pretty much in the middle of puente and irvine. . either drive is like a half an hour. . . . but norwalk is ghetto fab. . . Unless you like euro tails, florescent tubes, dubs on 85 Toyota Celica, or spinning hub caps (they sell them at kragen here, i swear to god). . then norwalk aint' that great. .:cP

WOOOORDD. . stay away from the 5 freeway dude. . traffic doens't clear up on that freeway until you pass the Beach offramp near Fullerton. . . there it goes from like 1 lane (haha jk) to like 5. . .. i hate that fricken freeway. ..

Both are cool places to live, irvine is more upscale then westminster though. Westminster is decent, people here in westminster are cool, cops are cool too. But beware of the infamous Bolsa drivers if you're down here.

i dont' know.. . . but about the median price. . .um. just figure this much. . irvine, pricey. . diamond bar, chino, fontana. . all relatively cheap and in NICE areas. ..only problem is its really confined. I have friends that moved to corona right off of butterfield ranch, and virtually ALL of there shopping, entertainment, and whatever else needs are located in the Corona Spectrum. Or whatever its called. One would think thats convenient until they go to the supermarket one night, then go out on a date the same place the next :cP haha. . . But who says you have to party there. .:cP
