Default code 7 question...please read already searched

OK...so my ECU is throwing a code 7...it's a 98 EX

I checked the voltage at WOT and closed....sensor works perfectly.

What else could cause a code 7?

Thanks for the help!

Chek wiring, reconect conector from ECU and chek direct sensor wiring. I think it is TPS - throttle position sensor. Wiring diagram for OBD 2 i can't find.

yep..sorry should have clarified more...I checked the TPS voltages and they read exactly how the Haynes manual said they would. I'm thinking it may be in the wiring somewhere...like you said...

Did you try resetting the ecu after disconnecting and reconnecting the sensor?

yep...I reset and the CEL is gone for now. I have decided it is the connector coming loose after like 5000-7000 miles...I think it vibrates loose. It does not feel like a good solid "snap" like most of the other connectors on the car.

Thanks for the replies everyone...
