helpppp....... my trunk leaking
heres the story....... when it rains or when i wash my car. My rear trunk tends to leak its coming from the right side by the tail lights. its not the tail light seal cause i replaced them already btw i got a 98 integra 4 door. all i know is that its coming from the right side of the trunk. anyone got the same problem let me know how u fixed it thanks
check the trunk seal for tears. also make sure all the gaskets are ok and that the nuts are tightened down to the right torque.

probaly do
It's prolly the tail light gasket. Or it could be the sunroof drain tube (if u have a sunroof) but even then the drain tube is more to the side of the car, so i dunno...

its none of the tail light gaskets cause i replaced them already. i still have the stock tail lights on cause i think all red tail lights look way better than altezzas. it isnt the sunroof drain tube cause i plugged it back in when i came loose, but still got leakes anyone can help me out here
If you have a sunroof, check the draintubes in the back. The rubber tubes connect to a plastic elbow connector behind the tail lights. Sometimes that becomes disconnected.

Everyone says it's not the taillight gaskets.....but it is. Trust me. Just replacing them won't do. Make sure you install them correctly. Put on some silicone sealant if necessary. Make sure it is held on tight. Push on the taillight and screw in those nuts by hand little by little as you put hard pressure on the taillight toward the front of the car.
It is your taillight gasket.

It's funny how he's said that it's not his taillight gaskets like 5 times, but everyone still keeps saying, "maybe it's your taillight gaskets".
I actually also drilled a small hole in my spare tire well. I have new taillight gaskets from ragejed too (
), but my trunk still leaks a bit. Drilling a hole is just a good temporary fix until you find out where the leak is coming from.

well take you back seats out, get in the back of the car and stick you head in the trunk with a flash light, and have a friend soak the car with a hose for a few minutes while you are inside looking for leaks
i have also heard about the atenna causing leakage problems.
