205/40 looks nice..but when u hit them bumps and potholes its not so good and a high chance of putting a dent in one of them rims. I would go with 215/40 as I've always gone with 205/40 and had bad luck with them. Up to you though.

exactly

i bumped up because of horrible road conditions here in NoVA and 2 flat tires ala potholes

i say, judge by your road conditions, how often you drive the ITR, etc. if you have a DB8 i'll assume the ITR is for the weekends etc and i would go with the low low profile

if your car is lowered or you are going to lower it 215 will rub on turns , go with 205 40's and just keep your tires properly inflated and try to avoid pot holes and you should be ok

personally I think the thin side walls on 205 40 17's look like crap, thats why I got 15's and 16's

i'd say go with the 205/40 cuz like the guy above just said... if u have a lowered car or plan on lowering.. there is a good chance that you will rub with the 215's. If ur not gonna lower than i guess 215's are ok. but i believe the 215/40 combination would then put the overall tire/wheel diameter a little over stock tire/wheel's diameter.
