D15 cam info needed
ok this is a cam that i got from a 5th gen DX hatch, its non vtec so i know that it will work in my D16Y7. now i know this isnt the greatest pic, but im wondering what you think of these lobs, there are some grooves in them that i can feel with my finger.
how ever i'm going to have it re-ground. will it be ok?

the cam is scored and mostly useless, use it to beat a thief in the head.
For the unkwowing here.........
ALL 96-00 Civics use a "VTEC style" casting. The only differnce is the machine work for the VTEC solenoid and oil passages.
The 88-95 non VTEC cams don't fit.

What harm could it do to run it like that? Mine looks like that, maybe a bit better. It wasn't like that when I got it though. WTF??? What causes that? Damn it!
