I saw this 4 cylinder honda engine that said it was 12 valves on the fuel injection cover and it had a manual transmission. Can you help id?

no, what kind of car was it?? or was it in a junk yard, sounds like the old si engine or something

 

Perhaps a 88-91 CRX HF engine, or maybe a 92-95 Civic CX. Or were those 8 valves?

Yeah those were 8 valves.

The 12 valves sounds like some OLD ****.

 

perhaps a CX or VX motor from a Civic?

 

How about you go look again and find us the engine code because that is the only way anything is going to get answered.

ya the only way to know is year, engine code, vehicle, stuff like that, it sounds like an older 1st gen rex or 3rd gen hatch si engine, but the cx, vx, and hf were all 8 valve

 

87 CRX Si had 12 valve engine
